2. Booking Process

• Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a binding booking. It is a request for a quote or itinerary.
• A booking is confirmed only when the operator issues written confirmation and a 30% deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance is due 45 days before the climb start date.
• Prices shown on the site are indicative and may vary based on season, group size, route, and availability. The final price is confirmed by the operator.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation terms:

• 60+ days before departure — full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
• 30-59 days — 50% refund of the total amount.
• 15-29 days — 25% refund.
• Under 15 days — no refund (unless covered by travel insurance).

In case of weather or safety-related cancellations by our team, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and emergency evacuation.

4. Safety Requirements

• All climbers must complete a medical declaration form before the trek. Climbers with pre-existing conditions (heart disease, respiratory illness, epilepsy) must provide a doctor's clearance.
• Our guides have absolute authority on safety decisions. If a guide determines that a climber cannot safely continue due to altitude sickness or other medical concerns, they will arrange an immediate descent. This decision is final and non-negotiable.
• Climbers must follow all KINAPA rules and the instructions of their guide team at all times.
• Travel insurance with emergency evacuation cover is mandatory for all climbers.

5. Climber Responsibilities

• You are responsible for obtaining a valid passport and Tanzanian visa, and for ensuring your vaccinations are up to date (Yellow Fever certificate may be required depending on your country of origin).
• You must disclose any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or medications that may affect your climb.
• You must arrive at the agreed meeting point in Moshi at the confirmed date and time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened itinerary without refund.
• You are responsible for your personal gear. While we provide camping equipment and a packing list, personal items (boots, clothing, medications) are your responsibility.

6. Payments & Fees

• Payments are processed securely via PesaPal and DPO Group. Inspiration Africa does not store credit card details.
• There is no booking fee charged to climbers. Our commission is included in the operator's listed price.
• Park fees, guide fees, porter fees, meals, and accommodation are included in the package price unless otherwise stated.
• Tips for guides, porters, and cooks are not included in the package price and are at the climber's discretion (a tipping guide is provided before departure).

7. Limitation of Liability

Climbing Kilimanjaro involves inherent risks including altitude sickness, extreme weather, falls, and other hazards. Inspiration Africa Ltd acts as a platform connecting climbers with operators. We are not liable for injuries, illness, death, or loss of property arising from the climb. Our liability is limited to the platform facilitation fee. Operators carry their own professional liability insurance and are licensed by KINAPA.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photography, design, and branding — is the property of Inspiration Africa Ltd or used under licence. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Arusha, Tanzania.
